The Center for Climate Equity and Resilience supports ongoing projects and initiatives at SDSU committed to sustainable and equitable futures for all. Projects in the Climate Center tackle coupled social and environmental climate challenges, working towards tactical, equitable, and future-focused solutions.
From extreme heat, environmental and energy justice, economic resilience, Tribal and Indigenous stewardship, to community health and sustainability, the Climate Center provides technical assistance, supports workforce development, and builds strong collaborative partnerships that benefit communities and ecosystems, combining cutting-edge research, inclusive scholarship, and transformative outreach.
Cultivating meaningful collaborations with communities, nonprofits, scientists, and local, State, Tribal, and Federal governmental entities, the Climate Center projects foster innovation to support and promote climate equity and resilience for people and nature.
