Climate Justice

Center for Climate Equity and Resilience

Climate Justice means that all communities have equitable protection from environmental and health hazards and equal access to the decision-making process to have a healthy environment.

The Climate Center @ SDSU is commited to ensuring the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of climate legislation and policies. To advance climate justice, the Center works to enhance the capacity and effectiveness of community organizations through training and technical assistance support for grant writing, management, and implementation.

Supporting Equitable Communities

Removing barriers to climate justice

Providing technical assistance and support to ensure all communities can access resources to help them thrive.

Why it Matters

Under-resourced and underserved communities are entitled to envision and implement the projects that meet their priorities and help them thrive.

The Center provides technical assistance, training, and related support to communities with environmental or energy justice concerns, connecting communities to essential opportunities and resources.
